Summer 2012

          Ruby took swim lessons for her first time ever.  We went down to Geri's swim school where one of my best friend teaches.  I was a little nervous, because last year Ruby wouldn't even get in the water.  But she did awesome! By the end of the 2 weeks she was putting her head in the water to blow bubbles and she would even jump off the side and go under.  We made some serious progress!

We went to watch fireworks at Murray park.  Both of the kids loved it!

We always sleep out on the road for the Days of 47 parade.  We have done this since I was a baby and it has always been one of my favorite traditions.  Will is not so fond of it, but that's ok!  This year I slept out with Ruby and Seth.  The kids had so much fun and I'm glad we did it!

Moving

           We moved at the end of June!  We lived in Eagle Mountain for a little over 5 years.  It was a bitter sweet move.  Eagle Mountain is a great place to live except that it is in the middle of nowhere.  We were sad to leave a great ward and neighborhood but it was time for a change.  We now live in Murray, close to Wheeler Farm.  We are literally 1 minute away from the freeway!  It takes me the same amount of time to commute to work, but it cuts Will's commuting time a ton.  He works at the U of U hospital and it used to take him over an hour to commute.  Now it only takes him 15 minutes!!! We love our new place and our new ward. It is so nice to be closer to our families and we don't spend half of our day driving to get there!

Dance Recital

We put Ruby in dance in January.  She has done awesome and she LOVES it!  We got dance pictures in April and then she got to dance on the big stage in June.  She was a little nervous to go out on the stage when it was dark, but as soon as the lights came on she did so good.  My favorite part of the night was when she was doing tumbling.  Every time my dad yelled " Go Ruby!" she would turn around and smile into the audience.  Every time we go to dance now, she asks me when she gets to dance on the big stage again :)

Ruby Turns 3

I can't believe that my baby girl is already 3! We had her birthday party at a park in Lehi and it was so much fun.  Brook made her a Dora and Diego birthday cake and it was so cute.  Ruby got tons of cute presents and clothes :) She also loved that everyone was there just for her.  Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Family Pictures

We got family pictures done at the end of March and they turned out SOOOOO cute!!! Both Ruby and Seth did awesome. It was at a place called Camera Shy in Lehi. I could't just pick a few, so sorry there are a ton on here :)
