Christmas Eve with our Bawden family

We do Christmas Eve with my family. We eat breakfast food and then the craziness begins. We do a story to remind us about the true meaning of Christmas and then we exchange presents. This year was also special because my nephew was able to join us. He has been in jail for the last little bit and we were hoping he would get out on December 17th, but he was told he had a few more months for another thing. During this time, his wife had a little baby boy and Mafa was able to meet him for the first time. In the middle of our story, he walked in the door. It was the best Christmas present and it was so unexpected! There was some mix up on his time and he was able to get out early. We love you Mafa! Merry Christmas everyone!

I love our families and we were able to see all of our family this Christmas season. It started with the Forbush party, then the Bawden party, then the Wood party and then the Hensley party. Ruby and Seth were able to see Santa a lot of times and luckily they said they wanted to same thing every time. Have I mentioned how much I love the Christmas season? Well, I do!

Dance and tumbling recital

Ruby and Seth had their tumbling and dance recital. They were so excited to go on the big stage and they knew that Santa was watching. I was a little nervous that Seth would be too excited to listen and wait his turn, but he did great! Tumbling is a good outlet for all of his energy. Ruby is getting really good at tumbling and I hope that one day she will be as good as her cousins :) When Ruby did her dance, she was so cute! She actually listened to the music and was shaking her hips to the beat. That made me really proud! Also, her bow fell out towards the end of her dance and she reached back and realized that it was gone. But.... she didn't stop dancing! She waited until the dance was over and then she grabbed it before running off of the stage. What 4 year does that??? Mine :) I was so proud of them both!!!

Breakfast with Santa

My parents always have us all come down for breakfast with Santa at the fitness center. Ruby and Seth were still terrified of the dressed up dog. My kids hate mascots and stuff. They are literally terrified of them. Ruby went under the table whenever he would come close and you can see in the picture with Paislee that she had been crying. They both love Santa this year, just not his dog :) Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Bawden!

Wilson aka Magoo

Wilson is getting so big and I have tons to update about him. He will be 1 in February. At his 6 month appt he was 16 1/2 lbs (55 %) and then at his 9 month appt he was 20 lbs 12 oz (75%). He still has a huge head :) At his 6 month appt they came in and measured his head like they normally do. But then they came back in again to measure it. I asked what they were doing and they said that they think they wrote down the wrong number. But they didn't. It was just really big!!! So we have been watching it, but he might just have a big head forever :) He rolled over at 4 months. He started eating foods at about 5 months and he loves it. Will has shaved his head twice now. I also think that he has the chubbiest cheeks out of all 3 of our kids. He started army crawling around 8 months and then crawling at 9 1/2 months. He is already pulling himself up onto things and walking around them. I think we will have a walker soon :) He is a really happy baby and he loves his brother and sister. He is also a mommy's boy :) We sure love our Magoo!
