Summer 2011

We had a ton of stuff going on this Summer! Not only did Ruby turn 2, but both kids were so fun this summer. Will shaved Seth's head a few times and Seth was so chill about it. Ruby was a little timid about the fireworks at first, but then she loved them by the time we had done some. We took the kids to the zoo and Ruby loved it! We went swimming a ton with cousins. We had a lot of cousin birthdays and I also had 2 cousins get married. It was a crazy, fun Summer!!!! Oh and did I mention that we got Will a new bike back in January? Enjoy the pictures!!!

Ruby turns 2!

I can not believe that my baby is 2! Ruby is such a fun and sweet little girl. She is always so energetic, she has great manners, she loves her brother, she knows what she wants, she loves Barney, Wonder Pets, Dino Dan, Backyardigans and any Disney movie, she loves books, and oh man does she have an ATTITUDE! If looks could kill, there would be so many people dead because of her. She is the sweetest thing, but her mood can change so quick and all of a sudden you have the wrath of Ruby. I have always said that she can either make your day with her sweetness or make you feel horrible because of her attitude. We are so blessed to have Ruby in our family and we love her so much. Happy Birthday, baby!

Seth's Blessing

We blessed Seth on May 15th at our house. We had such amazing support from our family and friends! Will gave a beautiful blessing and he did such a great job. I sure love that man! But I must say... I think we picked the windiest day in Utah to bless Seth. It was crazy!!!! Since it was so windy, we just squished everyone into our house for the blessing and the lunch. Seth was blessed in a cute little suit with black Vans shoes :) The outfit was kind of big, so my mom took it in. But Seth has such a chubby neck that I had to lay him back to get the top button of his white shirt done up. So needless to say, he was very happy to get out of it (look at his smile in the last picture). We are so grateful that Seth was sent to our family and we love him so much!

FYI: These were taken in Seth's room and Will painted the tree. Isn't he such an amazing artist?

Seth & Ruby

Well when Seth was born, Ruby really didn't like him! She would not come by me in the hospital if I was holding him :( When we brought him home, she slowly started to come around.

1st Bath

Ruby got really sick the day after we brought Seth home. She was running a fever of 103 and I couldn't get it to stay down. So now with a 5 day old baby, I also had a really sick and whiny 2 year old. So I took Ruby to the dr. and she had an ear infection and croup (again)! They gave her amoxicillan to help with it. Well then she had an allergic reaction to the amoxicillan and she looked like she had some disease. The poor girl! And this whole time I was praying that my newborn would come through this without getting anything from his sister. Oh they joy of having 2 children :)

Ruby got her 1st haircut on March 5, 2011 from my cousin, Randilee. She did such a good job of sitting still and turning when she was supposed too :) Her hair has been growing so fast ever since! It is already to the middle of her back.

We also went ice skating for Nate's birthday and Ruby was pretty good at walking on the ground but not the ice. She was able to try it, thanks to Koby and Grandpa!
